Introduction

In these Terms and Conditions of Sale, the following definitions apply:

"The Company" means software4education Limited, registered in England and Wales,
company number 6391130
"The Buyer" means the person or company offering to purchase goods or services
"The Goods" means the products or services the buyer is purchasing or offering to purchase

All orders are accepted only upon and subject to these Terms and Conditions. The liability of the company is limited to the sales value of the goods and services supplied. The Company will not accept liability for consequential losses.

General

It is the buyers responsibility to check specifications, compatibility, and suitability of the goods before ordering.

Price

All prices on our web site are set, and all orders are accepted, at the prices ruling when the order is taken. The Company reserves the right to increase prices to those ruling at the time of despatch. The Company reserves the right to amend prices to correct errors or emissions. Where prices are increased, the Company will always give notice of the increase and give the buyer the option to cancel the order.

We are a UK company and all transactions will take place in UK pounds sterling. We do not accept payment from cards issued by banks based outside of the United Kingdom. We take no responsibility for charges incurred due to currency conversions if you try to use a card or account whose base currency is not UK pounds sterling.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on the "buy now" icon and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We only accept orders from individuals and businesses based in the United Kingdom for delivery within the United Kingdom. Our £7.95 standard delivery charge applies to destinations in mainland UK only. There may be an extra charge for delivery to destinations in the Scottish Highlands, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight or for any destination that involves carriage over water.

All our prices are shown inclusive of VAT. When you 'checkout' you will be shown a breakdown and total of all costs that your transaction will incur.

All technical information and descriptions given are based on the information supplied to us by the manufacturer or their distributor. Specifications are subject to change without notice. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery

We will normally process your order within one working day. Our systems automatically send an order confirmation e-mail to you. This initial e-mail does not constitute acceptance of your order but is for your information only. A further e-mail will be sent to inform you that your order has been accepted once we have confirmed that the items ordered are in stock.

Unless stated otherwise, you should receive your goods within 3 business days of placing your order. We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. Items are sent out for next-day delivery by courier. Orders received after 3.00pm may not be despatched until next the working day.

While 99% of deliveries arrive next business day, we cannot guarantee next day delivery. The Company accepts no liability for delays in despatch or delivery or any consequential losses as a result of the carriers failure to meet their advertised levels of service.

Damage or Loss In Transit

The risk in goods shall pass to the Buyer on delivery to the Buyer's address. Any loss or damage must be notified to the Company within 24 hours and the goods held for inspection.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will e-mail to ask if we should back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Delivery dates for back orders are based on the dates given to us by our suppliers. The dates are accepted by us and passed on to you in good faith. We accept no liability for losses caused by the failure of goods to arrive on the dates passed on to you.

Credit Card Security

This web site is hosted on a secure server. In addition, all credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They can only be retrieved by our systems and are only decrypted after they reach our computers. They are deleted no more than 30 days after your order has been delivered.

Returns and Refunds

Please call or fax immediately if you have any problems with our products or delivery.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. if there are any issues with the products supplied, shortages or damage to your packages please contact us by e-mail immediately.

We adhere to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 and the OFT approved SafeBuy Code of Practice. This gives personal customers using this site 14 days in which to return unwanted goods for a refund. We will accept your rights to return any goods supplied provided the following conditions are met...

The Buyer may not return goods without authorisation from software4education. Goods must be returned within 14 days to the address given by software4education. Carriage charges are not refundable. Where the customer refuses to accept a delivery, we reserve the right to charge return carriage costs at £7.95.

Goods including software, or video and audio recordings, can only be accepted for return if the shrink wrap or seal on the packaging of that component has not be broken.

Goods must be undamaged and in a resaleable condition. Damaged items are not covered by this legislation and you should contact us to arrange for the replacement of the damaged goods.

Goods must be returned in the original manufacturer's boxes with all manufacturer's seals unbroken and with all shock-protection and protective packaging in place. Packaging must be undamaged and is a factor in the judgment of whether the returned goods are in a resaleable condition.

Goods must be returned at the customers cost by a recognised courier or parcel service. Proof of delivery to an authorised representative of software4education Limited will be required. A list of authorised representatives is available on request and you must call us to obtain that list before sending goods.

The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to business to business transactions. Business customers should contact us immediately if they have ordered incorrectly or if the goods are not as expected. Returns from business customers can only be accepted by prior agreement and upon the issue of an RMA. Requests for returns must be made within 2 business days of delivery. A restocking fee may apply.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. software4education Limited does not disclose buyers information to third parties. We will not use your details for the distribution of marketing materials without obtaining your consent to do so. We do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used, and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' option.
